Rising Together –
Leadership in Every Stay

Integrity | Accountability | Empathy | Passion

The best way to provide our guests with the most up to date information about our hotels and what’s in the area is through Redroof.com and our Experience Page.   We want that information to be accurate.  Your help is needed.  We are asking you to review your hotel on Redroof.com and your Experience Page.  Send any changes or confirmation that you have reviewed, and no changes are needed, to your RDSM by March 29th.

What to look for:

  • Is the information correct?

    • Check-in / Check-out times

    • Amenities

    • Terms and Conditions- check-in age, credit card requirements, pet policy, safe fee correct, early check-in fee / late check-out fees

  • Pictures correct, all the links work

  • Restaurants – any that need to be removed/ any that need to be added

  • What about airport locations, is the correct airport listed for your location

  • Colleges & Universities, are there any close by that are not listed

  • Events, are they current.

  • Any outdated information

  • Your key sponsor, are they mentioned?

Your Sales Team reviews Redroof.com and Experience Pages in June and December.  It’s great for you at the property to review as you know when restaurants, attractions, or events change.  The Sales Team is asking that you review these sites in March and September.

If you haven’t heard the quarterly sales leads requirements now allow those that send more then the minimum of 5 leads per quarter, for the additional leads to go toward the next quarter.  Don’t hang on to those sales leads if you have reached your goal of 5 leads; send them over to your RDSM.  For those that are still working on their 5 qualified sales leads for 1stquarter,  you have about 2 more weeks to get them in.

A reminder, a qualified lead is a prospective customer that you have already spoken to and is ready to talk with your RDSM about setting a Volume Plan Plus (VP+) account.  VP+ accounts are generally set up for companies with lodging needs for multiple people.  When sending over your sales lead be sure you have the company name, contact person, contact’s phone number and the contacts email address and any other information that may be helpful.

It is hard to believe that springtime is just around the corner, but it is coming soon, and construction crews are starting to plan out their lodging for their upcoming 2024 projects!

Project managers will shop around, and we want to grab them as soon as possible!!  When they are told “I will have someone call you back” we are wasting precious time to get them an answer. Please be sure you and your teams are fielding these calls and quoting the best possible rates you can so you can secure the business asap!  Otherwise, they will hang up with you and just call the next guy..we don’t want that!

You know your property best and should have long-term rates in mind that you, and your GSRs, can confidently quote.  Please quote the rates and book the business – don’t wait!

**If you need a little guidance, feel free to reach out to your support team (RM/RVP/RDSM), but do not delay and be sure you let the guest know you will get right back with them.

When a rate is quoted, please then send your lead information along to your RDSM who will follow up & set up the VP.   We will then talk with the contact and source for other business, project information, potential for sub-contractors to the same project, overall needs in your area and assist with any billing needs, such as a UCC or direct bill, the customer may have.

Let’s start building that base business now and make it a great Spring and Summer!!
