New PTAC/AC Cleaning Service, Carpet Cleaning, Dryer Duct Cleaning

In 2020 less than 30% of our inns had PTAC cleaning completed due to expense cuts associated with the revenue losses from Covid19. Several locations have not been cleaned in 2 years. As you know lack of regular cleaning creates a strain on the units and can cause breakdowns.

To bring all assets up to date on this vital service, we have arranged with DGS Energy to handle the PTAC/AC unit cleaning along with the cleaning of the dryer duct work this year. DGS has been serving the hospitality industry for 13 years, contracting with LQ, Marriott, ESA, G6 and others. Our negotiated cost for this service will be $27.50/unit. Although this cost is higher than previous vendors, we believe their service will be far superior. DGS Energy cleaning specialists are well versed in the disassembly and reassembly of all PTAC brands and models so you can rest assured the units will be cleaned and reinstalled properly.

Kudos to those locations that complete this service inhouse to save expenses - please review your procedure with your RFPM for approval.

Another service DGS will perform is a thorough cleaning of the dryer ductwork, from the dryer to the building exterior. The cost of this service is $75 per dryer ductwork.

We are currently testing DGS at various properties and will be scheduling more ptac cleaning jobs soon.
