Refurbished PTAC Purchase Program

Early this year we began a test of purchasing refurbished PTAC units. We partnered with PTAC 4Less, the only company that offers refurbished PTAC units shipped nationwide and backed by a 6 month warranty. PTAC 4 Less built their reputation of quality on 17+ years of experience. In general, these units are half of the cost of a new unit, which creates massive savings for RRI West. Keep in mind these are used, refurbished units so they will not be perfect, but they will be in good working order, and ready to be installed – and the cost is half that of a new unit! The test is going well with only a few hiccups that were quickly resolved so we will continue this test throughout the coming months and will not be purchasing new PTACs until further notice. Should you receive a unit that is defective there is a simple warranty process to follow. Please consult your RFPM if you have any questions about this program. On a side note, a non-working PTAC unit at your hotel should never be removed from the sleeve and left open – it is better to have a non-working unit in the sleeve than none at all.
